Objectives of the needs to have - found the Sechelles Heritage Trust

History
The question one must ask here how much should be written about our community's history the past 70 years in Europe in relevancy to the need and purpose of setting up a Heritage Trust.

In comparison to a number of ethnic communities of EU or mixed EU origine - the criterias, needs, reasons, arguments and demands for such a body.

Then there are the issues of national understanding - interpretation of such Heritage Trust, the national laws, functionality and Trustees, management issues.

Over the past 10 years one is witnessing certain phenomena as to what Heritage is at all, about in and across the EU and those bodies which the EU have designated to become umbrella body for National Heritage bodies, organizations, debate, working paper, policies and funding. The French government bodies, Institutions - its approach and interpretation of Heritage.

In many instance those large quangos, bodies created by EU institutions neglect of the less important - minority issues, the politic associated, mediatization - media role in such issue. Concluding that these have set about their own interpretation, classification and terminology of what heritage is all about - those involved in the work and their responsibilities governed, ristricted and controlled by those large quangos.

Introduction:
{The complexities for our community to put in place aspect of the Sechelles Heritage Trust goes back to the time of SNM/MPR active days in Britain 1983 onward Mr Denis B & and Accoutant wife, Mr R Horeau, Mr A Horeau, members of the Horner family, 1st Seychelles Ambassador Rasool - the discussions with several lady members of our then community, Mr P Stravens and discussions with older community family members ( former school friend, family friend from East Africa who migrated to Austrialia, of both established and exile residance in Britain. Then between 1991 - 1996 the nudge/encouragement by the well known Italian GMR to set such a body up - the mega bust up involving the Conservative government of John Major. Compelled to return to London and start afresh - the practice "four steps forward and three steps back wards".
Needless to say very many years have gone by 1981 - 2009 and a great deal of water flowed under the Bridge. }

It is very strange and macarbre, unreal - the mass of interest, human in pute, media involvement, giant institutions, national and world institutions as to why and who gave the name of America to the USA. Yet when it come to other nations - the origine of their nation name - in our case those who gave our nation its name, their origine and history. It is irrelevant, insignificant and unimportant. It is very important in our case because they relate to those families that became Kings and ruled England - Britain. They form and are part of history and heritage which have impacted the face of Europe, the great politic of Europe and
its religion and history. It is the dignity of a great people, the Norman people, their race, posterity - a nation in this case the Sechelles - Seychelles, that is being treaded upon ( in time of old this would have led to violent conflicts)
It is part of the very rich Norman heritage, culture and saga.

Equally important - of significant importance, the later family - who had served France, the Kings of France and its people the Moreau family, their importance and role in France politic - how they acquired the said Title and whose name they gave - was given to those Group of Island in the Indian Ocean and the name of its inhabitants - today's nation.
It is part of the very rich French national history and their heritage.

Vision:
The Vision our Community have been striving for 25 years is the need to preserve, promote, put into prospective, communicate the rich heritage of our European fore fathers. Those who were compelled for many complex, political, religious, human expediency, persecutions to flee France - Europe. In the case of those European ancestors of Dutch, Portuguese, Italian their motives for migrating from Europe. Those and their decendent of 5-6 generation having returned to Europe, the important need to reconcile, understand, come to term and linkup with their ancestral European Heritage. The vast complexities of its working and meaning.

The need to laise with the relevant EU and national bodies, instittions. The need to have involved importantly relevant religious, church institutions to support its activities and endevours.

For this reason the need to have certain concrete structured bodies forming part of the Heritage Trust to manage, promote, raise funds or carry business activities or charitable commercial activities to support itself and their work.

The need to acquire property from which they can manage, work and carry out long and short activities related to the Heritage Trust.

The need to care for the elderly, those less able, handicapp, those homeless, those with difficulties to find employment, those with learning difficulties and those excluded from society or the community.

The setting up of Insurance, pension, credit and saving activities for the short and long term functioning of the community, and older members.
